Managed to get out at lunchtime for a quick 20 minutes (well, 18 actually). Managed to keep the speed up a little longer today, and it didn’t hurt quite so much.

Managed to get out at lunchtime for a quick 20 minutes (well, 18 actually). Managed to keep the speed up a little longer today, and it didn’t hurt quite so much.

Today was the first day of my attempt at getting fit losing a stone…or more. A 7 and a half mile cycle ride at 8am. It was tough, and there were more than a few occasions that I felt I was going to lose my breakfast, but I feel good for getting started and back in the saddle. I drank more fluids too, and cut down on the coffee, only having one cup all day. Time will tell if I manage to keep it up. I won’t be able to cycle again until Friday of this week, but will try and fit in a few brisk walks over the next couple of days.
